I need some general guidance on using my superbrain 977 and charging my 3300 batteries. I’m getting back into the RC cars.

• My batteries have sat in the basement for 1 ½ years now, are they toast or can I do something to make them good again?
• What’s the best charge rate and time for them and what other things do I need to do/know about charging and discharging?
• I will do some races and am not worried about getting the very most extreme last bit out of them but do want realistically good performance from them.
• Are there any threads out there that cover my questions?

Thanks for the help.

For the first charge now they should be charged with a wall charger (constant charger that won't shut off) at a rate close to 330 ma for 15 hrs. The 330 and the 15 isn't real important, but when multiplied together it should equal 150% of battery capacity.

Any subsequent charges on the 977 can be done at 5 amps and it'll shut off when full charged.
