Greetings Friends, this is the photograph of my autugyro rc pusher type, built and fled
by me, in Nova Iguaçu City, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It makes a lot of sucess around here, I'm working hard to motivate this kind of aeromodelism around here. As far as I know, there are only 2 more aeromodelists flying the autogyro here in Brazil and both of them are of the tractor type. Only mine is the pusher style.

Specifications of the model:
Fuselage: Fiberglass, with tail in balsa coated with vinyl
Train of landing: tricycle
Command: direct rotor (CC)
Length of the fuselage: 82 cm
The mast height: 33 cm
Diameter of the rotor: 140 cm
Rotor: 03 Blades
Weight: 2,100 grams
Configuration: pusher
Engine: OS fx .40, Two strokes
Propeler: 10 x 6 step inverted

Alazaro,

Congratualtions on a very nice looking and flying model! What is the fuselage made of, fiberglass or foam or something else?
I also found another video of yours of what looked like another pusher autogyro with a flatter fuselage... was it a prototype?

Hello Mike, thanks for the comment. The model that is on link 1, it is a pusher for a .40 engine, two strokes and its fuselage is from fiberglass. The another model of Link 2, its a pusher for a .25 engine, two strokes, with balsa fuselage. The Link 3 model is a tractor, with balsa fuselage, also for the .25 engine, two strokes. The Three of them are prototypes and they are making a lot of sucess around here. To promote the modality of the autogyros here in Brazil, I am disponibilizing to the brazilian aeromodelists, freely, my projects and my experience for more than 10 years with autogyros rc. I Believe that my register in RCUniverse, will help promoting this modality of aeromodelism here in Brazil.

Pre-rotation in autogyros
I resolved the problem of pre-rotation on my autogyros, using as a starter, a electrical drilling machine of 12 volts and with acceleration control. Just adapt a spinner in the center of the rotor and a type starter tip for aeromodels in the drilling machine. The video link below, shows how the starter works.

Hello Emilio, it is great to receive congratulations about our works, primarily when these congratulations are coming of you, one of the pioneers of this modality of autogyros. As I said before, my goal is the promotion of autogyro rc in my country, and as there is no forum here about this subject, I decided to register on RCUniverse to promote my autogyros projects. For you to have an idea about the efficiency of this forum, It is less than 10 days since I began posting here in RCUniverse data and videos of my models, and I was searched by 8 brazilian aeromodelists, wanting my project. A magazine of aeromodelism around here, wants to make an article about the autogyros rc. A Spanish Friend of mine wants to know how he could get a fuselage of my autogyro pusher and Mike Smith also made himself present in this forum to congratulate my last autogyro pusher model. I am very satisfied with the result of the promotion. Emilio, thanks for your comment in this forum. I Hope to see you often around here.

Simply beautiful models, congradulations on all the success, have you ever thought about marketing this as a kit?

Hi Gary, thanks for the compliment. As my goal is to spread the autogyro rc around here, I did not thought about marketing it as a kit. I am providing, free of charge, all my experience in over 8 years in this type of aeromodelism. I don’t have the plans for my autogyros yet, but I can provide a manual with all the specifications and photographs of them. Any aeromodelist with little experience in the construction of aeromodels, can build and fly his autogyro. All my models fly well, but personally I prefer my last Pusher model, motor .40 two stroke. He is very stable and performs all the maneuvers very well. But, as we know, the pusher model is more difficult to fly than the tractor model, and therefore is not recommended for less experienced aeromodelists.

Antonio I understand what your saying but there are fewer and fewer modelers that are builders and few have the time to devote to building something that is not already mostly finished. It's such a fantastic looking and flying model you should consider either having it produced as a kit or and ARF Almost Ready to Fly model. One of the problems with the Autogyro is that there aren't that many good kits available and even fewer well known hobby distributors that sell them. With a nice looking and nice flying model like yours it could become very popular. As I said, I wish you the best of success in whatever you do.

Good work Antonio,

I am especially interested in your .25 glo sized pusher autogyro.
It looks impressive in the air.
Could you provide details, dimensions or sketches.

Thanks,
Bob
