I have a jett Counter balanced spinner , but it only has 1 small hole on the backplate of the spinner
i checked the Jett web site, and there should be 2 holes
is my spinner an older version

No it is a new version. The web site has not been updated yet. Place the hole where the needle assembly goes into the motor on the right side looking from the front.
