if you are willing to spend the money. if not the orbit.
these are upgradeable, so as new battery packs become available, or better pack detection algorithms are developed you can upgrade the EPROM for a few $. there is nothing in the market today that can compare to these 2. I own a few chargers (supernova, Sirius, etc) and none of them come close to the efficiency these 2 have.

none of those charges you mentioned (i own or owned many of them) do not come nowhere close to the rest. Schulze would be my first choice then orbit. but either one is good orbit does one pack at the time shulze does 2

[/QUOTE] You should consider the type of charging you will be doing before selecting a charger.

For example, the Triton is fine for smaller packs but a poor choice for larger packs due to its power limitations. This is where high power chargers such as the Orbit and Schulze become almost mandatory.

I have been using the Sirrius chargers for about the last 2 years. I have the Sirrius Pro, which charges a transmitter pack and a receiver pack. It is available with an upgrade to charge larger transmitter packs and receiver packs.
I also have the Sirrius Limited Edition charger which is designed to charge two receiver packs at one time. This will charge up to two 4000 mah nicad and nimh batteries. It uses a high voltage pulse charge with a peak prediction computer, so it never over charges you batteries. It is advertised that if you use this charger exclusively, your batteries will not build up a memory.
I would suggest that you call the folks at Sirrius (Peak Electronics) and talk to them about their charger. They are very nice to talk with and will answer all of your questions.

I rarely charge at the house anymore. I wait till I get to the field, place my batteries on my Sirrius chargers and go tell everybody hello. When I'm ready to fly, so are my batteries. I have been very well pleased. These chargers are really fool proof, with nothing to do but plug in your battey.
