i have a Phoenix 80 amp speed controller at home and want to put it to use. I do not have a motor or battaries for it.

I was hoping some one could recommend an airframe that would use the 123 battaries that would employ this ESC. I want an airframe that would be a fun 3D airplane. Also if you could recommend the size/power of the battary needed for this set up along with motors

thanks

also how many cells etc would this 80 amp controller handle with a good margin of comfort? I know this unit can handle upto 6 cell lipos

I use a CC Phoenix 60 on a couple of aircraft using 5S A123 packs.
One is a Electrified Sig Fazer ,AXI 2826-12 , APC 13X6.5E prop , just over 600 watts. and 43Amps.

other one is a S Hobby Shop Extra 300 SHP the 47" version. Scorpion 3026-10 , APC 13X6.5E , on 4S close to 600 watts and 50Amps. , on 5S just over 800 watts at 70 amps.
