my friend has sa savage with 5.9 and 3 speed
it's slower than my tmaxx3.3...
the other freind of mine has a mini mgt...which is as fast as my tmaxx

yea. the mmgt is very light. especially for being about the same size as an older maxx. has anyone found bodies that fit on the mmgt? i rly need a new 1 after my failed frontflip. some have said that axial bodies fit but i cant get them at my hobby shop. will a tmaxx/revo 2.5 bod fit on?

From what I saw from a friends Revo body itis too long, as far as the Tmax I didn't ty it on mine but I will do that as soon as i see them again. What bodies does your hobbie shop sell? I have a Proline 72 Chevy body for my TT and it looks like it would fit it, it is the same length and pretty much the same width. The only thing I see is that you might have to cut out some of the body to fit around the bumper mounts or raise the body mounts up a little.

Here's mine with a PL short WB Crowd Pleazer and an Axial B-17 Betty. T-Maxx and Revo bodies come in 2 lengths. The bodies for the originals will fit but the bodies for the 3.3, TNX, MGT, LST are too long and will not fit right.

Yep, that's the body that came with my AX10. They're all over that auction site really cheap.

ok sweet man. im def. getting one after i blew off part of the back end of my body. long story. high speed runs up and down the street. tires locked up. frontflip flipped it and she slid down the road on the spoiler thing. anyway. once i get some extra cash im gonna go pick one up at my lhs. now i just need to decide on a paint scheme. i was thinking black as a base and possibly green or red flames down the side. any suggestions?

sweet pictures man. i liked the 1 with the barbed wire running thru it. i'll keep lookin and see what i can come up with. i dont have an airbrush so i'll have to keep it kinda simple since its my first body im painting and the fact i have to use shaker cans. i'll look at some tribal designs on google. i want to see if i can put something like a tribal tattoo on the tailgate.

I have the TTR Hammer 18S nd all I can say is its a great little truck and so well balanced, the only weak point I found was the front bulkheaddiffcase were the shock tower mounts to,i've snapped 2 and decided to get a few spares in just in case it goes again, apart fro that its been a blast and is well fast enough for me.I'm pretty rough on my nitros and this was fully bash tested on the street aswell as on the field and stood up very well indeed,i'm very impressed with it and wouldn't mind the MMGT 3.0 now just so I have both...

i've not contributed on here because for the last couple of months (maybe more), my truck's been in pieces... but i just got the parts i needed today so i've started rebuilding it again! - the chassis was damaged so i'm having to disassemble everything... which is a pain and i hope i've not lost any screws or forgotten how this thing goes together ;-)

can't wait to see it running again... hopefully on monday. i might order a new body as the original is getting tattered now.

can anyone please confirm this to me..... the front of the chassis where the front bulkhead attaches to, is it angled upwards a bit?
i just got my new chassis but i do not remember it having a slight upwards angle (it would make sense tho but i just dont remember it)

the chassis i got is the thunder tiger version tho which i thought would be the same.. pls confirm this because now, my front wheels have a slight toe in and this definitely i did not have before!

can i download the official manual off somewhere?

Yup, that would be the kick-up, at the front of the chassis. Heres a PDF download of the exploded view. You can see it there as well.

parts is parts

around here its 14 mm or 40 series. personally i would go with the 14 mm because all of the proline mt rims use that (the non 40s 1's).

Intergy makes some hop ups for the MMGT...but i haven't tried any. I beat the crap out of my truck and have had few parts that broke. The stock parts work awesome....Very durable.

and i have both

I have the O.S. CVR 18 in my MMGT and yes its was faster than my MGT. I just put an Axial .32 in my MGT but haven't raced them yet.

I use four stock 8.0 shocks on my 3.0. The MGT shocks seem to work alot better on the stock MMGT shocks. I had all 8 of them on but the MMGT is too lite, so 4 did the job. I mostly use my 3.0 for jumps and offroad bashing. Ive had more fun and uptime with my 3.0...BUT nothing beats the power and size of a 1/8 scale...
