Hello,
I am very interested in this new plane from your company.

I do have a few questions however:

1) Is it pipe ready, I know I can use a can but you have said nothing about a full length pipe.

2) Also, what is the airplane covered in?

3) Is the fuse painted or covered?

Thanks in advance for the answers, I am very excited about this new plane!

Are there holes for two servos per wing? Does it come with pushrods, tank, etc like in the prototype pix on your web site?

Hello, There is room in the fuse for a pipe but you will have to make your own mounting system for your pipe needs.

The plane/fuse is covered with all fiber glass parts pre painted to match.

Ya, what happened to the video? Or is this the market strategy?

I have placed my deposit on one of these and I am very interested in any updates.
Is there a forum or a website/page we can go to for official updates?
I would love to see some pictures of the engine installation..hint...hint.

I do know that the Dietrich website has indicated that the planes are not due in until the latter part of March(I think it's March)

I am totally excited, the wait is killing me.

I had to inquire, and they responded. Send them an email, you should get a response. Whats worrying me is that no posts have been updated here online with this forum. 1st the DA engine had issues, that went on for a month or so, but there still has not been a video uploaded anywhere. That, and now yet another delay from the factory makes for a suspicion of doubt....

You guys , i can feel your frustration , but honestly , look at all the new products that have hit the shelves over the past few years...only a few ever really ever made a "deadline". I mean come on.......Dietrich is a well known reputable company.

If you think this is bad....you should look into the heli's when they get announced. Ever hear of an "AVANT Aurora"?......people have have deposits down on that stupid helicopter for about 2 years now , and it's still not released! Talk about a bunch of frustrated people.....sheeesh!

As far as Dietrich goes........you should be thankful that they are taking their time and making sure the airplanes are in tip-top condition before they ship them out. If they rush it , to only please a few , they are going to disapoint everyone else.

Lins........what do you mean , "you think your getting screwed"? I'm sure if you we're to call them , you could cancel your order and buy something else. You'll probably lose the deposit.............but then again , why would you cancel the order?

Give them some extra time guys , i'm sure you will appreciate it , from the very first time you lay your eyes on the quality of one of these birds.

almost "ALL" things in this hobby that are worth a crap , get delayed.....that's the way this hobby is. And as far as lack of response in this thread and so forth......Dietrich is a small outfit that makes awesome planes. They are probably ( no....most surely) putting the final touches on these planes and getting them ready for us.

I think you guys will be happy by giving them the time they need to complete this airplane.

my $.02

True Words,

But, from a customer standpoint, to have the communication stop with wondering minds is an uneasy thing. This particular 75cc product coming from Dietrich seems to be "thee" perfect fit for the new DA85. It would be nice to read an update here, online, where the drums were 1st beat to attract customers as to whats going on, and why.

To address Mr G: This IS the website and forum for information on Dietrichs new product.

I want and am ready for one just as much as the next person, communication is KEY in these situations though...
