Hello,

I have a simjet 1200 and have the following problem:
I had to buy a new fadec from simjet denmark and now my turbine does not start!!
When i try to start the gas ignite but it keeps running on gas, on the screen shows " fuel ramp" but nothing more happens.
I have checked the fuelvalve and pump manually and bth work.
Is it a problem that i use a 7.4 v lipo???
the previous fadec worked well on that lipo.
or do i have the correct settings in the fadec for the 1200, because i did not get a manual of the fadec from simjet.

i hope someone can help

Contact SimJet Denmark by phone (+45 86364667) and they can guide you. E-mailing them is not so good. Too much going on for to few people.

Check the T/C to insure that is is pluged into the ECU with the correct color orientation.

Also, if the T/ C is not working at all the engine will not ramp on kerosene and will only run on gas / propane

These items can be checked by turning on your system and noteing the temp reading on the data terminal.

This first thing you should see is the ambient room temperature displayed on the data terminal (assuming you have the T/C pluged in correctly and it is working).

Apply heat to the T/C and see if the temperature rises. If it does, it is working correctly, if it goes DOWN, you have it plugged in backwards and if you have no temp dispaly at all it has likely failed - replace.

Perform these tests and advise.

Brg.

Today we did some tests, the temp sensor okay, rpm sensor okay.
We also replaced our 7.4 v lipo with a 11.1v lipo and raised the starter rpm with 2000rpm and it was running !!!!
So the new gaspar uses 3 cell lipo insteat of 2 on the previous fadec??

We did 3 good flights, untill .... 4 th flight the engine begins to make a hell of a noise, and flames out!!
result The engine bearings failed, probably because the last few days we where trying to start and start over and over, but it was only running on gas!!!
this is the result.

we have a simjet 1200 and a 3000 and with the 1200 we never had luck with, never buy this again!!
i hope the 3000 has not that kind of trouble
