I would definately say that he is not very timely. I finally received a response from him that I sent on RCWarbirds about 2 months ago, so he is still alive and kicking. It is definately unfortunate that he has left some open ended business deals out there...better to take care of those first and then take time with his family. I hope everything works out for you guys. I was looking at one of Jacks kits, but until I hear otherwise I believe I'll stay away for the time being. I've heard good things about him, but there is no excuse for not taking care of his business dealings. Good luck guys!

Well, well, well.....
Guess what gang? IT`S HERE. Yes, my Bearcat arrived on December 29, 2007. I won`t go into all the details, but I guess my brief time playing with the old New Westiminster Bruins, way, way back in my day, might have helped. Takes a little while to get to
T-10, but when I do, the rocket will lift-off. Can`t be stopped. Just prepare for the rough
landing. No real threats, just explained the situation, listened to Jack`s version, told him that his was irreleavant, several delivery dates were missed. At my wife`s urging, I promised not to get... you know. So, I did, and it worked. After our discussion, I`m kind of optomistic that Jack will rectify all his lose ends. I`m going to try and enclose a couple of pics...also, I`m VERY impressd with the `Cat, the paint is excellent, as is the build quality...
Thanks, and be-lated Happy New Year to all of you.
Kerry

Emailed Jack Devine on Sunday the 20th of Jan. He responded same day with specific answers to my questions concerning availability of a certain kit and how long it would take to get the kit into my hands and payment terms. In fact, I had sent him a second email requesting additional info and he responded the same day. And he has what I want and I am going to order it shortly. So as far as I am concerned Jack Devine is back. No money until kit is ready to ship.

Gentlemen,
It's great to hear that some of you have begun to make some headway with our friend, Mr. Kack Devine. In an effort to finally take delivery on my 4 year old Lair Solution that I paid for, I sent Jack an email this morning simply requesting that he respond to me. I'll keep you all posted as I proceed and IF I hear back from Jack Devine.
Good Flying,
paul

It's been FIVE days now since I emailed Jack Devine looking for my Laird kit of FOUR years ago. Anyone have any suggestions as to what my next step should be...
thanks,

I am a Sgt in the Marines and have been dealing with Jack Devine's sons. I bought a 2001 Yamaha Raptor 660R and a 2 quad trailer from his son Jason in Dec 2006. I only spoke to Jason once. The funny part was that the trailer was in his sister Lisa's name and the Raptor 660 R was in his brother Jon's name. I was currently in N.C. and my wife was in Olympia at the time. I finally was moving to San Diego in Mar 2007 and went through Washington to get the rest of our stuff, including the Raptor and trailer. Went to put the titles in my name and both had lein holders on them. Took a couple of days for them to get the trailer title to me, but here it is Mar 10, 2008 and still have no title to the $4000 Raptor that I paid for. Reading this forum makes me want to take them all to court! I have even tried getting the lein holder company to send Jon the release of interest and do all the back work for him, but they won't talk to me. I have called them all many times with no joy. Finally got a hold of Jack at work and told him that if Jon does not provide the title, I am taking legal action. Going to Iraq in August, hope to get title by then!

Mr integrety strikes again. Fours years plus and counting as I wait for my Laird Solution kit that I paid for. On numerous occasions I've seen his email address posted here as being online so he knows very well what's being said about him. It's really unbelieveabel that he doesn't respond in some way to address these issues.....

Hi Sgt. McLean and Paul,
and Im still waiting on my corsair that was supposed to be already boxed up and shipped to me months ago too. It has my set of $325 Robinaire retracts in it.
I just do not understand- well, yes I do actually, its called NO COMMUNICATION and its a down right shame that we have to go thru all this crap.
I hope that both of you (and me) get our stuff.
Sgt McLean, best of luck to you and thank you for your service to our country.
John

Jack Devine has posted recently on the RC Scale Builder forums, the last time being within a couple of days.
