UPDATE,.....
This past Thursday I received a refund and "part" of my landing gear system that I have never seen since I purchased it from Mr Lee Robinson - (Robinaire) appx 2 to 3 years ago back from Mr Devine. He ( Devine) did include a set of Robart wheels that I did not furnish to him when Lee sent the retracts to Devine. I didnt get my air valve or tank back but thats ok I guess,... somethings better than nothing after waiting 3 years!
He is basically saying to me that he is hoping that by giving me my money and retracts back, that will put an end to all this( my posts here on RCU) .

Glad you got your stuff (or almost all of your stuff) back, John. As far as Jack's desire to "put an end to all of this" . . . NOT BLOODY LIKELY!!! Couldn't imagine anyone trusting Jack Devine to perform on any of his promises after your exposing of him for what he is. Thanks for having the courage and conviction to bring this whole mess public, John.

John
Great to hear some good news on your part.
OK Jack Devine, what about the rest of us ?? I'm not sure what John's limit was to your breaking down point but quite frankly I don't care what that point was, as I said before JACK, "WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US MODELERS YOU HAVE DISSED" ?
Tired of all the Whinning, well do something about it and what you did for John is a step in the right direction to start fixin' this crap!
So what about my Glue, DVD Video and 3 View plan for the Gee Bee Z kit you owe me ? When can I expect that stuff ?
If you need ANOTHER copy of the request and response YOU sent ME about this stuff, I will be more than glad to resend you a 80 or 90th copy of it, just drop me an E-mail (to stay annoymous).
Again great news John.
Gregg

Hi John,
Glad you are getting some of your stuff back. I have been following this thread from the beginning and can empathize with you guys. I have had fellow modelers, don't know if this is the right term, lol stick me for items. When I deal with anyone I give them a 100% money back gurantee or work with them to make it right. My reputation and good name is too important. Again, I hope you all get what is rightfully yours, and don't lose faith in all the honest and reputable modelers on this forum.
God Bless,
Fred Menna Check6

Thanks Mark, Gregg, and Fred. Hopefully we will all have a new understanding and outlook after all this.
I agree with you Fred, its called being stuck (and I could use some choice words instead of stuck
here as well, lol ) - sorry it happened to you .

I have a Gee Bee Y Kit of Jacks, and having read through this thread it is appearent that getting anything from Jack Devine is out of the question. I didnt get my kit from Jack, rather a privite party and I am thankful for that. So here is a request for anyone that may know the answer. Is there another type of glue that one of you might recommend to assembly this model and is there a copy of the build video floating around out there that someone is finished with?

I also want to thank all of you that have posted to this thread because it keep the rest of us informed of the problems that do exhist out there.

Thanks and good luck to all of you.

Ohh yea you mean Mr. Integrity, I'll get that to you right away, no problem, just call me with questions even if you didn't buy it from me I'll help you, but by the way I don't return any phone calls nor do I do what I say, JACK DEVINE ? Freakin' JOKE !
If you happen to run across the video please share it with me as I am looking for the same video (that Jack promised to send me with other stuff as well, yea JACK, you, remember, your problem aint getting smaller just by ignoring all of us). I have the "Z" version that I bought from a private party as well (thank God for small things and real honest people cause I actually got a kit, listen up JACK, you may learn what a real man is supposed to do on his word).
JACK, step up and be a man and take care of the people you owe. AGAIN, You are doing nothing good for this great hobby and it's great people involved even if you don't play this so called "Internet Game" as you call it.

Four years and still waiting for my paid for, Laird Solution kit. Thanks Jack Devine. Good to hear John, that you at least got some of what was owed to you.

This is sad, as a small business owner I can not understand how one maintains customers with treatment such as this. I quess we as modlers are a forgiving group and tend to think the best. At the very least communicate and if it is going to be a four year delivery, just advise the customer and or offer a refund. Hope he gets his business in order, we need more kit manufacturers and suppliers in this business or we will all be mail ordering from Tower. Competition is good, just look at the oil industry.
