Our annual, renowned Swap Shop will be held again at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds, on November 10, 2007. You wanted a bigger building and now you have it. We will be in the Educational Building which will double our floor space. A centrally located facility with room for up to 300 tables. If coming in to Winston-Salem on I-40 take Busniess 40 and exit on the Cherry Street Exit. Take Cherry Street North (changes to University Parkway) to Deacon Blvd. and turn right. Venders enter Fairgrounds at Gate 4. The public enters at Gate 5. If coming in on US 52 get off at University ParkWay and go West towards Winston-Salem. When you get to the Fairgrounds turn left on Deacon Blvd. Wall tables $20.00, aisle tables $15.00, both include one admission. Admission is $5.00. Spouses and children under 12 free. Vender setup Friday evning 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Saturday morning 7:30 AM. Doors will open at 9:00 AM till 4:00 PM for the public. Food and drinks including breakfast available on site. Turns out we've had so many more table reservations than last year that we've got way more than 1.5X the tables of last year.

Looks like it's going to be a BIG one! Tomorrow should be GOOD.

Status: offline 		I picked up some cheap motors, a kit for $5, and some 50 cent props. pretty cool. i was pretty impressed by how many folks were there. anybody win anything from the raffle?

Status: offline 		The people who won the RealFlight G4 Simulator (donated by K/C Hobbies in Archdale, NC) and the brand new ARTFaF (actually ready to fuel and fly) Decathlon with 46AX engine (donated by one of our WSRC club members) seemed pretty happy.

Did you see the woman toward the back who was selling her late husband's stuff? She had a bunch of what looked like brand new JR and Hitec servos and JR receivers for almost nothing. The RX were something like $25 each.
