Status: offline 		I plan on getting an fma CellPro 4s charger for a maxamps 5000mah 3s lipo. Will this battery power the fma cellpro 4s charger or do I have to invest in a power supply? I would jsut use a car battery, but they are more expensive then a real powersupply.

Status: offline 		That's a big battery to charge with that small battery. It's going to take a long time. I've been using a car starter pack and charging 3700 and 4400 LiPo's. It has been taking over two hours for each battery depending on how much was drained. I've switched to a plug-in power supply I've had for a few years.

Status: offline 		with that lead acid battery you linked to, you're looking at 1 charge max out of it. It will work fine though. If you wanted to use something like a car battery charger hooked to the field battery which is hooked to your charger, you could also do that.

alternatively a computer PSU conversion isn't more than about 10 or 15 bucks to make it look real nice.

If you go with a bigger battery get a deep cycle or marine battery, stay away from car batteries

Hey mrasmm, do you have any recommendations for computer PSU? I have a few old computers laying around also but if I can find one ready to use for 10 to 15 bucks .
