Not a bad idea. i'll break out my sledge hammer. I just tried a punch and i think it may of moved a tiny bit. i wasnt hitting as hard as i could tho i didnt wanna hit my hand!! My dad is about to give it a shot. I will let him take the risk of hurting his hand

Status: offline 		yea and you should use a socket or something on the back side of the engine so you dont damage the cooling fins or anything

Status: offline 		I tried hitting it so it would come out on the side that the exaust header is on. didnt work so well. im still trying. Im just still curious how its locked in there so tight.

Status: offline 		TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!!!! Its hopeless. With the tools i have, its not possible to get it. How could it of gotten stuck in there like that if theres no threads to grab onto?? Could it of like melted inside and stuck to the motor cause this is kinda weird.

Im trading it in for SH. 18!!! Kinda mad in a way cause that motor is pretty fresh and had lots of life but im happy cause im excited about getting a better motor!!!

When i send the motor in, i take off the clutch, and clutchbell?? is that it or do i take the engine mounts off as well im not sure if it comes with the engine mounts for this car or not.

Status: offline 		keep the engine mounts, clutch, clutch bell, fly wheel and spacer behind the flywheel and of course the exhaust manifold. keep all the parts to put the flywheel back on.

just a suggestion, get this manifold too, its much better than the stock one and its a great price, you should get some gaskets too:

Status: offline 		Ok got the clutch bell, clutch stuff, all that off. But how do i get the flywheel off?? I didnt see anyway to get it off.

Status: offline 		the pilot shaft is a nut that holds the fly wheel on, you will need to hold the piston in place to take it off. wrap some tape around the end of a flat screwdriver and stick it in the exhaust of the engine to hold the piston in place to take the nut off.

Status: offline 		Ok Got everything off just fine. Could i spray paint the flywheel and Engine mounts black with high temp paint. i have some paint that is used for grills and stuff thats made for things to run hot!!

Status: offline 		LOL get this, We tried again today to tap the bolt out, it came right out!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad, it saved me a good bit of money. Now i just gotta get a new single speed trans and some gaskets and im ready to roll
