Well I took my buggy out on an empty parking lot to see what speed it had, and noticed it was not changing speed's, so I checked it out last night, took off the motor then the trany and it looks like the spring is missing from the two way drive clutch, so instead of having it in high speed full time I took out the two way drive clutch and got a pair of vice grips and bent the metal around the arm to keep it from coming out, that way it wont stay in high gear, and only be in low gear, guess it will work till I order me another part for it

get this setup, you will be happier with it, its just better, single speed is great for these buggys, i only use the 2 speeds for on road, you could always keep the 2 speed setup for when you want to go onroad and single speed for offroad.

single speed:

Okay got my parts in today, ONLY took 3 days to get here now if that ain't fast I don't know what is remember get your parts or nitro vehicle's from http://www.clermontmotorsports.com/servlet/StoreFront good prices and fast delivery. Now one of the items I received was aluminum shocks, so I get them installed and ran my buggy around a little to see how the shocks hold up and did very very well, but a word of suggestion Blue LOCK TIGHT if you get metal shock's first thing first add blue lock tight because the factory does not add them, so its up to the person who buys them to do so. and agai8n thanks Clermont Hobby for such an easy search for the parts I needed.

I seem to go thru the 80mm dogbones and I have bent the aluminum shock holder 3 times so far. I have ordered replacements for the shock holders, but in the mean time I have found a good way to flatten them out easily and in just a few seconds. I lay them out on a cement pad and hit em with a hand held tamper. 1 or 2 good hits and its flat again. It does get "cement rash" on it, but its functional.

I am going to place another parts order soon, what are some good parts to have around?

I have glo plugs, dogbones, header gaskets, body pins, clutch (2 speed) and another air filter.
