Well although new at helis, I thought i read here somehwere that servos not connected directly to the swashplate is not good. Looks like a bellcrank in there.

Yep, mechanical mixing. I don't think it is "not good" just not what is becoming the most popular today. Mechanical mixing has been quite common and is still found on alot of helis out there. Advances in computer radios have made eccpm quite popular and that's why most of the minis out there are running this type of setup now.

I have heard the mechanical mixing isn't a bad setup at all and it gets the job done. I am not in the market for a new heli of this size, even if I was I would probably avoid it for now because it has no following yet and who knows what parts support is going to be. I have trouble getting TT parts at LHS in my area so I can't see this being better.

Looks nice though.

Agree, most uses mixing supported by the new radios.

If I'm not wrong, the TREX600N uses CCPM too

Ivan, very interesting heli...
Looks very good.

Yes TRex 600N is the same.
Mechanical mixing avoids the problems of servo interaction on the swash.
