Once again, I cant thank you enough.....yes I was wondering about accessability of the LSN cuz I had heard some gripes about that, but never thought it would be as easy as a pocket screwdriver, lol......and so was your HSN set ok from factory?

factory is 2-2.5. you will have to lean it some once break in is done. Your area and temps outside will determinee than.

With it being cold here i will eventually start wrapping the head to help keep heat in so it does not get to lean. See as it gets colder outside people have a tendancy to lean out the fuel mixture to keep temps up. That is wrong. It leans out the oil mixture also. If it is close to freezing outside i use a baby sock around my head. Others use alum foil. I wonder if you should hold off on making any cooling holes in the windshield right now as to help keep the heat in and not have to worry about wrapping the head.

My suggestion would be to hop over to the engine thread and post a question similar to " I live in CA and am getting my first nitro, what do i need to do to keep the mixture and temps correct for colder weather" I bet some one in CA will be able to help give you a better idea with your climate there.

BTW what temp is it outside right now? I am about 40 degrees F.

Ya I had contemplated that already, whether or not to cut any holes until spring and I figured I would hold off for the reasons you said, keeping the engine warmer and I thought that would help to warm the air inside the body going directly into the carb a little bit......Our temps are about the same, a little cooler today but usually around 0 to +5C (35-40F)

I have the parts here today for the exhaust but little time to tackle that until the weekend. It also is wet weather so i may not be able to even test it yet.
