so whats the verdict. Are these B&D battaries better/just as good as dewalt sells? I bought 1 dewalt pack and planning on buying a few more for a large scale project. but after comming accross this thread Im wondering if I should clean out the shelf at the local home depot/amazon

what are the draw backs when compared to dewalt packs. the new small cells seems better and a much better deal. same c rating etc just smaller/better?

Same cell type however smaller ,lighter ,less capacity.

IMO to say the 1100 are better would be same as saying a 1100 LiPoly is better than a 2300 LiPoly both of equal C capabilities.

It really depends on the useage at hand. The advantage of these 1100 cells will be in smaller aircraft where the 2300s are to heavy. Just remember that even the 1100s are much heavier than LiPolys of athe approx. same capacity and the LiPolys still have a voltage advantage.

A 3S A123 1100 with leads and connector weighs approx. 4 3/4 oz. a 3S TP ProLite 1320 weighs 3.11 oz. a 3S A123 2300 weighs 8 1/2 oz.
