I would have to say that the Discovery Channel is among my top favorites on TV. Who else likes watching this channel? Some the shows I really like are Mythbusters, Storm Chasers, Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, the everest show (I currently forgot what it is called), Survivorman, and my favorite...Man vs Wild.

Last night Man vs Wild was new and Bear was in the Sahara Dessert. He pissed on his shirt and put it on his head to keep cool, ate a spider, scorpion, and lizard. He's a crazy man, but I really enjoy his adventures.

Anyone else enjoy the Discovery Channel???

ME TO, love all the shows you do, Mythbusters and Survivorman are my FAVES, yeah, man vs wild is sick as well, bear does all sorts of stuff, the sad truth about the show is, it is prety much all staged, yeah, as for survivorman, it is Les alone, with no one else, yes he learns what to eat and not to eat but except for that, he is totally alone, any other raving fans out there

When I do watch TV I usually only watch CMT, Discovery, and the Comedy channel whatever it's called, and of course my favorite show is Mythbusters...

And on the note of mythbusters; I've read in the local paper that they will be coming back to Calaveras County to film a 5th show, though I don't even remember a 4th? (I think the 4th was posted a month before the show aired). Supposedly our county likes their presence since it gives the firemen experience in such areas...

Discovery channel is also my favorite. There is hardly a show I will not watch on it (although I am a little sick of cash cab).

Tonight is a re run on planet earth, I highly recommend it it is truly stunning.

I like dirty jobs, mythbusters, and survivorman as my top 3 favorites. Man vs. Wild is good too but bear drank his own pee on an episode and I know you are NOT supposed to do that. on survivorman LES? told us why not to drink your own pee and showed how to distill it.

yeah, I personally don't like cash cab at all, really BOORING, so mad "it takes a thief" isn't on any more, loved seeing how cookey people were when it came to their security, Les knows how to do all the correct things, he doesn't do anything "stupid" on purpose, Bear gets water from elephant droopings... prob because the producers want him to, I read in our TV guide a while ago that bear maybe doing a new series on how to survive in urban disasters, like escaping from a burning building... Les did an AWESOME episode on surving a flood in your office (personaly would LOVE to survive there), your flooded home, and in a car.

It's not really bad for you. It is better then dehydration, take your choice - life, or death?
I've never done it, or needed to lol, I always bring lots of Powerade and Water to the desert.

I like Discover, but I liked it better when it had American Chopper and the rest of those shows. I guess it's not a big deal though, no reason to watch OCC since Vinnie left. I wonder if he will get his own show? He is starting a new company called V Force custom motorcycles with Cody.

I also like History Channel, Science Channel, Comedy Central, ESPN and MTV; but not all the programs on each channel.

I have read that drinking your own urine will kill you faster than just dehydrating, it may feel satisfying, but the small percent of tocxins will harm you very quickly. Survivor man also confirmed that, you can distill your own urine and utilize the pure water though.
