ORIGINAL: TQ Batman So you would just need some 8x12x4 bearings to fit the new axles. You are right, If you use the stock Traxxas hubs. I can't find a good sealed 8x12x4 bearing, only 8x12x3.5 on Avid (which claims to be used in the same spot as the other in that size...hmmm). If you guys find a better bearing, heck lets all group up and ask RD Racing to sell us just the axles...group buys have power. And what is with the RD Racing site, sometimes its working, sometimes super slow, others its just down. I'd go back to stock Traxxas Knuckles/Hubs for good tight fit. The next problem becomes the width, using an RD axle and standard buggy 17mm hex set up will narrow the truck, meaning wheels will get close to hitting. Yes, I seen those 8x12x3.5 from Avid as well. Last night I ran my idea across PW and he is seeing if his buddy can make the axles. Even if they are a bit to narrow a solid custom shim can be added, which is what I asked him to do as we need the pin to be in the same place as the revo so the rim don't rub. I use the mugen rims and hexes and they do not rub. The rub marks actually came from when I ran them on the LST. The battery is the original one I bough for the Revo back at RC Pro in Freelin. I'll discharge it tonight. I'm not too worried about saving the battery, I just wan to figure out what the problem is. I have another 1600 ready to drop in, but if the problem is somewhere else then it won't help.
