Yup, nice vids though. I watched all 3, and all they did, was turn me away from electric... Which isnt hard to do. I'll stick with Nitro!

So how is the Platinum coming along? Was the fuel leak on the RC8 just the fuel line?

Platinum is ready for break-in. I didnt want to just swap everything over, with my current revo being all setup for the track. With the crappy rain, i havent gotten any fuel thru it yet. The RC8 is goood to go! No fuel tank leak that i can see. Fresh fuel line, re-routed, with fuel line clips. Cant wait to get to the track.

I'm just going to keep the stock setup for my Slash. I have no desire to throw in a esc / motor combo that costs more than the truck for something to play around in.

Can't blame ya infernal. That's my thoughts on my Rustler. And I'd rather put the money into nitro stuff. Though it looks like the Slasher does ok with the stock motor.

Matt, that's good to hear that the tank is ok...now I can sleep at night LOL. Ya, the rain stinks. I hate to say it, but the yard needed some rain, but it isn't helping the garage sale we are having.

Slash = $199
Sidewinder + 5700 combo = $160 @ Larrys.

My Platinum will be visiting the race at FTR Sunday. Got everything swapped over. Just need to set the radio. Also that new Radio box is WAY too small. Even the new SR3100 DSM2 RX is too big by the time you make room for their gigantic switch and harness.

Still, if I'm gonna drop $360 bucks on a truck, it better be a start to a new racing class of some kind.

That would be neat to see a class full of Slashers racing.

Ya, we could race some slashers! But can i run the Robitronics nitro version? LOL. Would that still be fair? So everyone going racing tomorrow? Im gonna go over my last setup checks, and start charging batts. I need out of this paint room. So, what do you guys think of the Platinum body done up on a candy apple red?

I dont know whats up with that red, but its possessed. It comes thru any backer i apply to it. That paint has been a pain since i got it. I know im picky, but you can see that paint how its a little blotchy. With how this paint is reacting, it may look different by tomorrow. lol.

I think im possibly inhaling too many paint fumes. I dont even remember if i posted these for you guys to see already. LOL.

That one looks black, but its not. Its a dark CF pattern.

And one im sure everyone has seen a few times. lol

Im gonna go see what the weather is like outside and get some fresh air. Might even break this Platinum in, in the rain. lol.

Nope, no racing for me tomorrow. The platinum body looks sweet. Are you gonna cut out the air scoop on the roof?
