Ya Bat, you are running around like crazy doing 3 classes. That is one task i'll never try. Those spikes can really rip the trucks apart. As im sure you noticed me fixing the Platinum early in practice. lol. I just HAD to show Jake it could make the triple. That spike stopped my truck dead in its tracks. Im just glad i noticed the break early while driving. Had i ran that much longer, i would have some bent push rods, and toe links. One of my rear lower arms was in pieces, and dangling... I had a great time racing you guys though.

Took a peek at the ST-RR. Diffs seem perfect. Only damage I see caused by my running 8 minutes on 3 tires is a small plastic insert is egged out and a rod end is egged out, both very minor fixes in which the kit already had a few extras. There is absolutely no scratches on the chassis from it. And I only broke the arm, the caster block, dog bone and spindle are i perfect condition. So I think I got lucky there. But I was willing to pay the price as points are hard to come by in this series.

I broke out my old radio gear and verified that both my servos in the buggy are OK. But the steering servo still glitches. So looks like the problem was probably the receiver or the servo pulling to many amps. To clarify, the battery really only melted, but still smelled just the same. Good news is I have 1 more servo in my LST I can yank for the steering, bad news is I need another receiver. I'll see if Bill can hook me up.

I'll tear them down a bit more later this week.

On a side note, it appears my front diff on the Revo was leaking, which sucks on a new truck. Guess I'll drop the nova cups in. Why again did I buy this thing? LOL almost back to my original truck besides the chassis.

Anyway, that truggy is becoming my new favorite ride. I am close to working all the bugs out of it. Kinda depressed about the Revo's performance out there, I hope it is better outdoors.

And Matt, I have always liked the 3.3, I just think the OS holds a tune better and lasts much longer. I would have to say even my old 21 is stronger on the bottom than a 3.3, but I would agree that the 3.3 pulls hard through the entire power band and has more up top. I can't say for sure as I've really never ran my 21 on a large track yet where I can let it go wide open. The first race I had it was at PRunn and it was new and was getting too hot to race.

PW, checked my tank on the ST-RR, it has hardly any play at all. I recommend you try it, it has worked really well for me.

Tgrand, where were ya? I was looking forward to trading some of my custom blue paint with ya

I must say, aside form Thermal and BT, Albert and I had the closest racing in MT. I think we seperated by a lap twice. The only, ONLY reason I beat him was he was tryin got squeak by on 2 pits to my 3. I came in at 25 minutes, and he passed me then. I spent 5 minutes thinking "He's gotta stop. He's gotta stop. He's gotta stop."

He ran bone dry at the last turn before the line, and I was only a few seconds behind him. I was right at the triple, cause I was keeping an eye out for him in my field of vision, and saw him just come to a dead stop there.

Would I have beaten him if he had? I dunno. I had a bad lap and dropped back really far in those 5 minutes, and was fighting like the devil to catch up.

Either way, we had some good racing in the unofficial MT B Main.

Sounds like you and Albert had a good race. Its good to see two new racers out there. Hope both of you stick with it. Now we need to get ADE, and Tgrand back. I think PW is already on his way back to MT. Where was Dynomite? Hes real fast in MT too. We need these guys back in MT. Who knows, maybe Jbob will start running MT now too. I think an LST racer body would look good with the Jbob race scheme on it.

I too had a good deal of fun. Nothing exciting at all though on my end so I'll spare everyone the nitty gritty.

One fun thing in Qulifying was when the Bat and I hit the straight dead on, he bumped me and all I could think was "Punch it" to keep me straight which shot him up onto pit row. I do feel bad though cuz it caused him to lose his one lap.

2nd in MT was good. I kept trying new lines to gain time on Matt, but in the end that certainly cost me. But you gotta try. When's the pictures gonna be posted I heard something about me doing some Photoshop work on the top 3 in MT...right Batman?

Buggy I was right behind Matt (all 2-6 were on the same lap) then BOOM my driving skills sucked and that ended with me getting 6th. Was still very fun racing Buggy. I think Buggy is easily as fun as MT, especially because the group is larger and the competition is higher. Finally getting the engine more fuel seems to really be helping the tune and I'm close to where it needs to be.

Batman and PW were on fire in their qualifiers with their ST-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR's.

I do hope to go to all the FTMS races with PW and the Bat. I gotta do what I can to help FTR (if that does help).

Oh and on a side note...our server at the Restaurant after the race, we went with Horne, and the Phend Family. Batman found an admirer who gave us all a free shot (minus of course Mini-Al)! Batman yours was good you shoulda had that dude! Just kidding, I understand your choice on that dude.

I don't plan on leaving MT any time soon. But be warned, we're catching on you guys. I heard a few times the announcer calling that Albert and I were on 12 lap paces more than once, and I know I heard him call me on a 13 lap pace. I just can't quite keep that kind of consistency up, yet.

I can't wait for outdoor, when I can adjust my truck not have to compensate for the tires. I know it's hurting me in other areas, but... meh. No sense spending 60-70 bucks on a set of tires for 2 or 3 weeks.

Nothing but MT for me. I know what you mean infernal, I've had some fast laps (well, fast for me anyways), but haven't been able to put them down consistently. I may try going with a .26 in the LST to see if I can be a little smoother since I rarely use all the power of the LRP anyways while racing. I'm thinking about trying that Sportwerks .26. The price isn't bad, about 130.

If I can get my money together in the next month or so, I plan on joining you guys in MT. I had to work Friday night and I didn't get off work intil 7am so racing on Saturday would have been really hard. I hate that I missed that race because I truely enjoy running with you guys!

I would have to get that new Revo if I jump back into the MT class. I started with a Revo and loved that truck and the way it drove.

tgrand, my old REVO is going for sale if you want to save some money. Really close to a new Platinum anyhow with parts. Plus no where near $650.

Batman she was good looking with a very well built chassis dude. You are close to my age bro and I still would. She so wanted some Batman. Yes Jager-bombs stink, but they go down easy.

Crawling was fun. First course I made a mistake and didnt plan for the line out of a gate and rolled, still a good course. It was the second one that smoked me. Hitting 2 gates by merely touching the fuzz causing the gate to shift. Argh. I'm sure I'll be around mid pack or so.
