Brian, it would help if the carb was turned, if the linkage arm was long enough. That was the first thing i tried. Once i turned the carb slightly, i noticed the arm was over extending itself, and wouldnt push anymore. Now i "may" be able to do that still, if i can take the nut off the carb arm, and physically relocate that arm a bit more forward. I know on some older motors i could do that. Back in the original maxx days. I'll look into that this week. But right now, its working really well. I do wish it could accept a slide carb though. Would also be nice if it could use a rear exhaust engine. lol. Im imagining an .18 TZ in here. Zooooooooooooooooooooooooommmm.......

Ya, if it's fast with the stock engine, it would be crazy with a TZ in it. I don't see why you couldn't go with an engine with a slide carb and rear exhaust.

Have fun racing tomorrow guys.

Brian, its not fully tuned yet, and its VERY fast. I have yet to really tear up the yard full throttle. I plan to put a couple more tanks of break-in thru it tomorrow at the track. As long as i dont hammer it on the straight, driving on that track should be fine for break-in. So you cant race tomorrow eh? That stinks. Im really excited to get out there again. I wanna test out my Revo setup, and play around with this MMGT. I've got my radio up-timer setup with beeps set for every minute, and an alarm at the 10 minute mark. Im not screwin my pit stops up this weekend. Atleast i hope not. lol.

wow thats a long rod on that throttle!!! Is that rod flexing a lot?? I really despise the use of bellcranks on a throttle setup!!! IS THAT A ROTARY CARB!?!?!?! (dont answer that, I know)

Brian, the races were awesome. Honestly, the best race i've had in a looong time. Yup, i broke parts, nope i didnt win. But the race iteself, was heated, respectful, and fun. I also got to wheel post watchers truck, and batmans. Lets just say i've gotta change my suspension. I TQ'd, and almost put in 12 laps today. Ohhhh i was sooo close to 12 laps. lol. Batman was on pace to destroy my TQ, when he made a driving mistake in round 3. In the main, Al got the hole shot award, and had the lead early, until his body decided it was time for a pit stop, and did a "flip top head" maneuver. At that point i took the lead, and battled with the Bat. I had the lead up until i pitted at 10 minutes. Bat took me then. Then i got back out, and the bat took a pit stop, and i put nearly a lap on him there. He must have had a horrible pit. At about 5 minutes left, i saw the bat about 2 turns behind me. I came thru the whoops, and nailed a marshall, and 2 stopped trucks. The bat got away... Again. LOL Batman had me by i believe about a half a lap, and took the win. I took 2nd, with Jake in 3rd, Al in 4th. I believe those two guys were only down one lap, and on the same lap. Jake had a flameout, and the Post watcher had the mentioned body issue. If it werent for those two things, all of us would have been on the same lap, running real close. My setup changes were good for this weekend also. Without em, i would have been destroyed out there. I extended the truck with the optional arms, and dropped my center diff down to 300k. Last weekend i was getting wheelies with my 300/500 mix. The track is also super sticky. There is a ton of traction to be had in the groove. Also, i ran the MMGT today. WOW! This truck shocked me. I knew its suspension seemed really nice, but i was shocked by how well it handled. I had nooo problems at all throwing down clean laps with it. Since i was only on tank 4, i never let it get into 2nd on the straight. I was on a mission to find 12 laps, so i didnt run it in the 3rd qualifier. Which was a really good thing. If i hadnt run my revo in round 3, it would have broken in the main. I had a pillow ball pull out of the arm. Im guessing it was from last weekend, when i got savaged into the pit wall. Anyway, it was an awesome race day. Batmans faster than chit, and i've simply gotta dial it up. I need to get my suspension right as well. My diffs feel really good though. But i may go with the one way, and ditch the center diff, just for more punch. Batmans stuff has some giddy up' with that .21 in it. Thats about it though. Batman, thanks for lettin me wheel the batmobile. Same to you mr PW, thanks for lettin me wheel the PW mobile.

Sounds like lots of fun. Stinks I couldn't make it out.
So how did you like the holeshots? I'm glad to hear the mmgt did good on the track.

Good job on the win Mike. Looks like most of you were doing good out there by the laps.

Brian, the holeshots were nice. Very responsive. Even with the truck being rich, i could hit the throttle and pull the front end up a bit. I hope to have the MMGT full broken in, and tuned for a qualifier next weekend. But ya, i love the holeshots out there. I wish proline would put those LPR wheels out, so i could run them on the Revo. I think that'll be the hot setup. Ya Brian, we missed ya out there. You gonna make it next weekend?

I'm hoping to, but I may have to find someone to watch the kids if my wife cannot be home again. I really don't want to bring them in there with all the smoke. Especially with my oldest son having asthma.

Yeah what a race day today. I'd post alot, but no need, read Matt's post mainly.

Started off kinda rough for me, no airfilter for a few laps, still had the revo screen though. I'll tear the engine down tomorrow, but it ran fine all day. Had some weird shock problems, seems they gained in stiffness somehow. Cahnged it up and every qualifier tried something small. Getting to where I like it.

Responses were hooked up out there...lol they are already showing a wee bit of wear. Eddie good call they worked great for me. And to be honest they seemed to not wear like DB's used to eat them.

In the Main huge thanks to Tgrand and JJ, their enthusiasm helped me before the main (had a glow plug crap out) and then in my flame out I came down to help them since my truck never stalls I failed to show them the trick. Either way Thanks Tgrand and JJ who both looked good in the Truggy A main!

Funniest story was how I flamed out...Seems when fighting for position with Matt in the air over the Cross over he landed first and my engine/flywheel landed on his tire...out like a light. Got it fired up and back out to get to third just squaking by Al.

Al, Batman, Matt, Dante, great racing in the main guys. Thats what I call a blast!

That's funny. Man, what's the chances of that happening.
