Yeah, it's nice getting all of the option parts when you buy the M18T PRO. It's definitely a lot cheaper than buying them separately.

Not to change the subject or anything but...
What lipo batts are you guys using?
I finally got my first lipo charger (due here on the 1st), I'd rather buy a lipo batt for my M18MT before my E-MAXX. Money things... you know. I assume 2 cell is the only thing to use. I am using the stock esc and the losi insane motor. I have a reedy stump puller on reserve. So what should I look at? Links would be appreciated. I'm glad I have you guys to help.

You can get a full list of parts by looking at the exploded view and parts list for the XRAY M18T PRO. Start with the parts list then use the exploded view as a reference. You can search the parts list by part number.

Many brands fit, from Max Amps to Thunder Power. I personally am using Flightpower Evo Lite 2 1600mahs. Trakpower will be releasing these same packs soon with a black wrap as rebranded for 18th scale vehicles (will make them easier to find/order for many).

I would like to get maxamps batts. I have thier nimh batts and I love them. I have a membership discount too!
How do these look?

http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-2100-74-Pack.htm
http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-1550-74-Pack.htm

In the review part someone says they use the second one in their XRAY. I would rather get the higher mih of the first one if it would work. What are the opinions of you XRAY masters!?!

edit: After another look the first one is a few mm larger in every direction. I may only be able to use the 1550. Do yall know the dimension space in the XRAY? I have no mm measure er.

It would be a tight squeeze (1st). You still get plenty of runtime with a 1550.

alex.guzun: It looks like the bigger one might fit. Do you think you have 2mm more in the side-to-side clearance? It looks like the front-to-back and the up-and-down will
be good. Did you have to do any shaving or anything to get yours to fit?

I know this is something I should know but, what does the 1P mean? Those I am looking at just has the 2S for 2 cells.

The bigger batt is rated at 41amp constant and the smaller one is rated at 30amp constant. Would I notice a performance difference or does that just make the run time different?

One more question (sorry), what are you guys using for the low voltage cutoff? Do you even use one? I think I would want to protect mine with one. And may-be where did you get yours? They just sauter on between the speed control and batt, right?

i'll take some photos
what motor are you using? if stock brushed, i thin 15C is enought (correct me if i wrong)
voltage cut-off, you can make one for your own (rcgroups -> diy forum) or buy. There are with LED only and with LED and buzzer (maxpro), there are multicell gizmos also.

Right now I have a Losi Insane motor in it. I have a Reedy StumpPuller on reserve that I haven't used yet. From the way it sounds the reedy might not last too long. The Insane is still better than the stock one.

I'd love to see some pics. Thanks dude.

Hey Alex. I don't have a close up photo of it, but you can see Zack Barry's XRAY M18B (M18T buggy conversion) if you follow the link. There's a video of Zack racing with it and a photo.

Oh, OK. Yeah, I haven't received any M18B photos from fans who done the conversion themselves.

The track is at RC Madness in Enfield, CT. I found the original Team XRAY article which has more photos of Zack's M18B.

Thanks dude. It's hard to tell if there is another 2mm width space or not. I may just have to get the 1550, I know it will fit. That front arm break you had looked a little aquard. How did you break that at that spot? And what motor is that? I see you are running it with the stock electronics.

You can use 34mm width packs in the stock M18T chassis. You just need to dremel off the buttresses (not the outer wall) on the pack side to give the additional room.
