Hi Guys

I'm new to this charger and was wondering if anyone could give me the settings to charging my Mini LST2's battery?

Its a small battery that looks like it has six little cells. (7.2V 1100mAh Ni-MH Battery Pack ).

I currently set the charger to 1amp, and then set the mAh on the charger to 1100mAh, and leave everything else as is? Is this correct?

Also, is it safe to just pop the battery in and charge it? Even if I can't remember if I've used it or not, I have 3 packs.

Thanks

I think you got it, and could reduce the threshold from 30 to 25 if you want also.
You'd probably not want to just plug it in because the default current is 3 amps and that's too fast for the smalll battery.

1 amp is better and 2 amps is considered the max a lot of times. 2 amps will cut the chargeing time in half and will degrade the battery quicker than using 1 amp.

Great... what does the threshold do...?

Also, is it safe to plug them in even if they haven't been used, i.e. if I'm unsure if I've used them yet?

The threshold (sometimes called mv, voltage drop-back, delta, negative delta, delta peak) is the amount of voltage drop that the charger looks for to tell when the batt is full for shutting off automatically. You can plug them in if unsure of the charged state and the charger should still shut off automatically.

Thanks for all the help.

One last queston, if the battery is charged to full capacity, and I plug it in accidently, setting the charger to 1100mAh, charge rate to 1amp and push start, it will automatically pick up the battery is almost fully charged and shutdown fairly quickly?
