G'day to you, if you read it a little closer you will see that he said it was hard to get, not that he could not get it. It is readily available in many hobby shops in the U.S. and readily available by mail order from Tower Hobbies. There also is the option of mixing it yourself by getting Methanol from speed shops and oil from there or motorcycle shops. I have about 6 moki's in my shop, all run very well on no Nitro. With their thirst for fuel, the savings in a season can be substantial.
