Status: offline 		Hi guys, just wondering if the Bishop Power Products Mamba Max 5700 package w/ ESC and a Hyperion 5350 mAh LiPo was the best deal under $300. As some of you may have seen I'm looking for a really fast setup and this setup pops up a lot. For those who haven't, all this will be thrown into a Tamiya TA-05.

Thing is, I see a lot of Castle Creations/Mamba Max problem threads so I'm a bit skeptical on whether or not it's worth it.

The items I'm buying that will cost me the most is BL System w/ a ESC, LiPo Battery, and the Charger. So the max I'd comfortably spend is about $400 for it all. With that said, I think I'm going to get the Hyperion EOS0606i AC/DC Balance Charger no matter what as it also seems to be the best priced charger. At $140 at BPP and $300 at MaxAmps with a 3s 5000mAh LiPo and battery sack.

However, I want to know what BL-S will give me the most speed and reliablilty, the Mamba Max 5700, the Traxxas Velineon, or the Novak XBR/EX series.

The two contenders that jump out at me the most is between the MM-5700 and the Novak XBR/EX as the Traxas VXL, no-one really has any good gearing setups for a on-road electric car so I don't want to sit and mess around w/ gears.

I don't think I'll pay for a Feigao motor as those seem to be pretty pricey. But yeah, can anyone tell me which motor I should go with, or should I stick to the BPP MM-5700 pkg w/ Lipo?

Keep in mind:
» If you list a different BL-S, I'd like the price for it be under $150-$200 if it DOES NOT come with a LiPo, if it comes with a LiPo the max is $300
» You can list any other systems as long as it meets the last said thing to keep in mind.
» If you side w/ the Novaks, tell me why and which would be best for speed and reliability; the 8.5, 10.5, or 13.5.
» If you side w/ MM, tell me why.
» Does anyone know what the dimensions of the Hyperion 11.1v 5350mAh is?
