ORIGINAL: AFARACI andrew your really coming along now.very nice work how do you plan on finishing the exhaust ? did you build any right thrust into the firewall? do you plan on glassing the model? on that subject youre right glassing my spitfire would be hazrdous to its health awhile back i built a 60 size aircobra and needless to say thats no longer with us..... i truly enjoy this thread and keep it up doin great Art - The exhaust is now done as in the pic. That's how ROy Vaillancourt said to do it, so I'm going to stick with it the way I now have it. Also, Roy said no right thrust into the engine: zero degrees on the firewall. If there is a problem, then I'll correct for it after the maiden flight -- all going well LOL. Yes, I will be glassing her with some .5 oz cloth then paint. RIght now I am trying to decide how I want to disable the steering servo for when the retracts are up. I have an idea but am too tired to put it in tonight. Maybe tomorrow after I take a trip to the local hobby shop and pick up some large dia. tygon to finish up the tank. Hope you enjoyed yesterday's game. I heard it was a good one.
