Good morning all. I've been inspecting the plans more closely this morning and noticed that Roy shows the location of Navigational Lights. I am thinking of putting them in. Two on the ends of the Wings and one on the Rudder. This raises a question. Does anyone know the colors of the lights? I think I can use high emitting LEDs for this and design my own flashing circuitry running off of the receiver battery. ANY INPUT IS WELCOME.

THe stab went together easily. Construction is standard. THe was a problem with 1 or 2 of the ribs but sanding cured the issue. Here is the last pic before sanding the LE.

Elevator construction is also straight forward. I've started to sand them here are some of the pictures. After the Elevators are done, I'm going to start the wing.

I have one more pic that I need some help from anyone out there. Its a ply part measuring 1/4 x 3/4 x 6 from the PCK Kit. Its labelled "RUD & ELE HOKN MT STOCK." I can't find it on the plans. Does anyone know where it goes?

Hey mate,

I don't know, but i would guess that it's the elevator horn mounting block that you have to inlay (as per the elevator plans)

Looks like you may have to cut it down to size if it has to be inlay'd. 1/4 is only slightly thinker than the 3/16 the plans call for...

Thanks my guess

Thanks

dave

Amdrew,
I am very interested in your opinion of the Sierra retracts. It seems to me that these just may be the cream of the crop so to speak.
