That would be great. I am considering this plane as well. Lots of projects to do, but I have seen this plane fly and read reports of what a great project it is. Lots of pics please!

JEB - Happy to hear there's at least one interested - no problems with the pics. I am thinking of putting a Zenoah GT 80 in this bird. Any thoughts?

Andrew,

I will definately keep track of this one. Between this and the SisT build going on now it will definately help me decide which one I want to attempt.
Are you planning on using sierra retracts and the scale engine fan that Vailly sells.

Curt - yes on the retracts and the fan. Tonight - just an hour ago - I received the Full kit from Precision Cut Kits. Funny in that I ordered the kit 2 days after ordering the plans, etc from Vailly and I have not received the stuff from Vailly yet. I'll be ordering the retracts next. I also looked at the SisT version and chose Vailly over both SisT and Meister for a number of reasons. 1st. the Vailly 92 inch should fit in my car vs. I doubt the Meister would. Sist only has one kit at this time and I prefere to wait on that. ALso Vailly is a little cheaper (got to watch that hobby budget or I would be carried away), and Vailly seems to have more goodies to add into the plane.

I have heard the GT80 is the way to go. I had an opportunity to see the Sierra retracts at their booth. Very nice units and the workmanship is fantastic. I am going to save my pennies and do this one maybe next winter. Looking forward to balsa dust flying! Thanks for including us in your plans.

Thanx JEB - I've been leaning towards the GT80 and when I noticed that Roy Vaillancourt was putting one into his rebuilt FW190, I was pretty well convinced to go with it. I'll be ording it after the retracts. I am also hoping that Futaba wil have its FASST 8 channel out soon thereafter as I am wanting to use it.

Yes I just purchased the JR 7 channel and it is rock solid for the parkflyers. I am going to put the full range reciever in my SSE for spring. I have a couple of seasons on it and would like to test the 2.4 out before placing it in a 1/4 scale bird. I am just finishing up a Sig 1/4 scale for this coming spring.

I'll be watching too. I've been waiting for somebody to do a build on one of Roy's kits. I'll also be interested in what you think of the PCK kit.

Ok - Here are some pics of the full kit from PCK. So far everything looks good. The kit was well packaged. All of the bags were labelled and so are many of the individual wood pieces, both inside out outside of the bags. I still await my order from Vailly. Even sent them an email, but no response as of yet. My hope is that I will recieve a package of thme before this weekend so I can start throwing some balsa.
