Status: offline 		That engine is great on a 20-22 lb warbird. I will fly nice at 24-26 lb warbird. A G-62 would a better choice if you have one.

How much will it weigh?

Status: offline 		Tim....Its enough to get you around......and although haven't seen a G-45 powered P-47 I would say its adequate....... but if you haven't bought an engine yet...a G-62 is the engine to go with.....Several Large P-47/P-51's are flying down here and they perform very well.....My P-51 flys well with the G-62.....does 105mph on a low pass ...If your more into slowing it up abit just pull back on the throttle a tad..........but whats a "Warbird" without some speed to go with it now and then......The P-47 is more docile than the P-51.....should be a good flyer for you.....with a G-45 or G-62.........Bill.....

Status: offline 		Tim....The G-62 works great on a Menz 22x10....If you want some "Zing".....Try a Menz 20x12.....thats what I've been using when I want fulfill the need for "Speed".......Bill....

My Yellow Aircraft jug weighs in at 22 lbs with a G-45.
I am swinging a 20-10 Pro Zinger wood prop at 7300 rpms.
Mine is REALLY fast. I'll bet at least 105 mph.
Im sure yours will be a little heavier...Go with the G-62. You will be very happy. Besides, You need that extra weight of the heavier Zenoa up front.

I can get the G-62 nib for $369.00
