I just got my 50cc SU-26 Today, Arrived Double boxed and in perfect condition, Thanks Tom ! Not a single ripple or wrinkle in the covering either out of the box, first time I ever saw that.

Anyway.... I'm putting together a shopping list and was wondering what servo arms I should use on my hitec 5955tg's . would like brad names and legnth's for the ailerons, elevators and also the pull-pull arm I should use. This is my first gasser and I have never had the need for akuminum arms on a model before, any help would be appreciayed.

Thanks

Don

If there is a 40% plane out there drawing 42 amps it's because it has an on-board welder.

For Hitecs I always just use the arms that came with the servo, they are excellent. The exception is the rudder, I like the 3" Air Wild arm, that's why I sell it.

Use 1.25" on the other servos.

If you want to use Al. arms get the same size and use either AirWild or MLP arms.. both are great.

If you are a 3Der then I would def. use the Al arms instead. On my 260 I had the nice platic black arms that come with the Hitecs and out of curiousity I pushed on the surface a bit hard after 25 or so flights and I could flex both arms (wing has 2 servos).

For giant scale I prefer the SWB double locking arms. http://www.swbmfg.com/dl_arm.html I like the idea of having a little bit of a backup in case a screw comes out.

good arms as well forgot those one

The MLP arms go on so tight you could fly without screws literally hah.. need a screw driver to pry them off.

Not for long. I have proof of this.

What does not for long mean?

I have well over several hundred flights of mainly 3D with mine and haven't had a problem?

He meant not for long without the screws in. It might take a screwdriver blade, some muscle and some cussing to get 'em off in the workshop, but start the engine up and take off and you'll see 'em pop off like a drunk gi...oops, aint going there...
