Broke the 4500 in on sat. Took a while to get it started but after a few adjustments it started on the first flip each time. Great transition with no hesitation. It ran great on that 10% sieg fuel. Ran longer on a 16 oz tank of fuel than I thought it would. Over 10 min on full throttle.. .

Hey Bigg
I picked up a new kit today. A Balsa USA Fokker E.III Eindecker 90, I traded it for that ST3000. Looks like a real easy build... Most likely start on it after I get all my other stuff done.

Sweet! Who did you trade, John? I'll bring out my triplane out when you get it done. I was working on the elevators today. Had to cut the slots and finish some sanding. Also put in some hard points for the control horns.

Here's some pics of the fuse. I was going to wait until the whole plane was done but I figured that I'll put a few up.

Thanks man! The wheel pants from my WH Extra are a color match and will be added after a few flights.

Wow !! You moved ahead pretty good on that thing. I didn't get anything done this weekend on mine. I went ahead and repaired my Giles..LOL !! I couldn't leave it sit, I don't know what it is but I love to fly that plane. I think I'll do some work on it wed I should have it done by the end of April. Got a few more things to buy. I plan on flying this weekend if the weather permits. I ended up putting that 61 on my Edge......Hope it still flys well..

I still have tons of stuff to do myself. Seems like it's never going to get done sometimes. Did you have to add weight to the Edge's tail to balance?

That's my Cowl Inuction hood just like the old Camaro and Chevelles had. I think that I'm going to name the plane the Carden Super Sport. Carden SS for short.

Here's a pic of a Monte Carlo with a Cowl Induction hood. I have a '70 Monte Carlo myself with a 454 big block, Turbo 400, and a 12 bolt posi rearend. One of these days it'll be put back into pristine shape.

Well I got the motor mounted, all thats left are the electronics, horns and rods. I will do them friday night.. I'm going to use the servos I have and just get a stronger one for the Yaks rudder. I still want to get a matchbox for the elevator servo's and I think I will buy that RDS 8000 2.4 G radio from Airtronics for the Yak also, it's only $240.00. I'm in no big hurry to fly it and I got plenty of time anyway .I might have the profile ready for sat morning.. It's going to be close to 16lbs with that 4500

Let me know if you head out. Will you be coming to the field with the big one or go to the school?
