Jet-summercamp at Lindtorp Flightcenter in Holstebro/Denmark

Jet Danmark invites jetpilots to participate in our Jetcamp.

From July 25th to August 3rd 2008

The jetcamp is thought of as a combined vacation and jetflying event, with or without your family. The key words are fun and relaxation.

The area around Holstebro offers a lot of options for various summer activities for both children and grownups. Within 25 kilometers you will find beaches, restaurants, disco’s, exhibitions, a beautiful nature and good shopping opportunities, to mention a few.

For more information on tourist attractions have a look at www.holstebro-tourist.dk

We will be using the 1200 meter long asphalt runway at Lindtorp Flightcenter for our flying activities. The airspace is free to use from 8 o’clock in the morning until sundown. If anyone has a night flying show this will be very welcome as well.

Please beware that in Denmark we are only allowed to use the 35 mHz band for jets. 2.4 gHz is not yet approved. Participants will have insurance under our National Model Assosiation, when providing proof of membership in the Model Assosiation of their home country. Please bring a membership or insurance card.

We will be camping on site where you can find a hangar for storing the planes over night, a kitchen, shower, bathroom, 220 volt electricity, a refrigerator and a large crew room with a flight simulator and a bar. On site camping will cost 35 kr. per person. Children below 12 years of age free.

On Friday August 1st there will be a summer party night with a BBQ for everyone interested. Pre registration is necessary due to planning of the event.

To register simply call Kurt Hevang at +45 20 62 64 78 or e-mail him at kurthevang@hotmail.com

We are looking forward to welcoming you and you family in Holstebro for a fantastic week of vacation and jet flying.

Check out the website as well. http://www.jetdk.dk/Jetcamp2008.htm . I will be updated continuously witht the names of the participants. You can also find pictures from last years event.
