Yup. Like an HPI Baja 5B. Even though I know a kid isn't going to get a $1400 buggy! Oh well, I'll wait 10 years

i know the feeling, i cant wait for the avalanches i ordered to show up. I also cant wait for christmas to see the look on my dads face when he opens his! I do feel a little bad for my poor tsunami that will get neglected when my avalanche first shows up

syclone,

once you play with that 1/8 scale avalanche you will never want to play with the tsunami again. Its like going from a mustang to a lambo. Night and day difference in every way. Thats great that you and your dad can get involved in something like rc's. He will have a blast and Im sure he will get hooked if this is his first.

Hey there is nothing wrong with mustangs, I love them. Now if you said it was like going from camaro to a lambo I would agree. LOL

Yea, my dad had been into electrics pretty heavy back in the day, but always wanted a gas powered truck. when we go to play with the tsunamis he always comes out to watch, but wont run ours cause he is afraid he will brake it and feel bad about it, so no he will have his own to join in with. It will be cool thats for sure!

Ordering stuff through the mail is what adults do to feel like they used to when they were little kids on christmas morning. Except we can do it on any day of the year!

i hate ordering through the mail because of that waiting period. if i want it, i want it now :-) I hate driving home every night and hoping there is a box on the porch and not finding one there. but, it is definitely great when it finally arrives.
