This guy has ceramic bearings at very good prices. He doesn't list a kit for the mVVS but he has the bearings
Your engine uses a R699ZZ in the front and a 6002 in the rear

15X32X9 (6002) Ceramic for rear
[6002] $15.97 USD

9X20X6 (699ZZ) Ceramic for front
[699ZZ] $9.97 USD

Thank you w8ye.

Just wanna make sure before placing the order: are the .91 Mvvs bearings the same size as the Mvvs .77?

Cheers,
V.

Vasek,

Please note, some older .61 MVVS engines had a different rear bearing, 16002 15x32x8 mm, which has a lower load capacity.

All current MVVS .61, .77 and .91 engines use the 6002 size 15x32x9 mm.

OK, another quick question:

would it make sense to install a ceramic upgrade up front and leaving the steel bearing in the rear?

the reason i'm asking is that the price of the rear B seems to be 28.97$ (unless there's a mistake; 15.97 for steel + 13$ for upgrade) see link:

the front is 3.97$ + 6$:

Vasek,

You got this right, unfortunately...

This is out of the ordinary for RC-Bearings.
Most complete bearing sets from Paul are just $6, or $7.

This particular bearing must cost a lot even from his sources.

The original MVVS set would cost you less than that bearing alone...

My Kaspersky AntiVirus software tells me that http://www.rc-bearings.com is infected with a virus called "Trojan-Clicker.JS.Agent.h"... whatever that is. If anyone knows the guy who runs it he may be interested in knowing that....

I have just checked the site with our corporate Symantec Internet Suite and no virus or trojans found.

BTW, thanks for the catch on the price error! I will fix that within the hour!

Paul, my Norton just blocked a "Bloodhound Exploit 20" at your web site.
Edited to add: I just checked on what this was and it's a very low risk cursor controller of some sort.

I've also had some difficulty lately getting into the RC-Bearings site Paul...like the last few weeks actually, but I thought it was just my computer?
