What is the consensus on prop size for the dualsky 6360-12T? In reading previous posts I see guys are using 20x15 and 21-14. Any recommendations?

20.5 x 12W is slow but a real tractor on uplines and good brakes on downline
20.5 x 14 is pretty good all around prop good speed but less braking
21x13 is good combination of tractor and braking
20x15 for those special windy days
22x12 slower, good tractor and good downline braking

All sizes refer to APC props

You might try the 21-14 as well. Dave S. has been trying it out and it seems to work well I have one on my test plane with a few flights on the 21-14 and it seems like another good option.

So far they are. About 30 flights on them and I haven't been gentle. Don

So how do you like the Dualsky 6360?
At that price, I've got to know!

I've got about 150 flights on mine and I find it very consistent. So far zero maintenance. Less than a buck a flight and getting less every flight. Now if we can get 200 flights out of $200 worth of battery packs, the cost per flight favors electric.

I still like the 22x12 better than the 20.5x14. The 20.5x14 might do better on the 11T. Maybe a winter project.

I have over 300 on my original 6360-12T with no maintenance other than replacing the bearings early on. I thought they needed replacement but it made no difference and the replacements have gone over 250 flights so far. Others have had to replace bearings because the motor got 'noisy' but the bearings are real cheap to replace. Standard inline skate sizes. One large and 2 smaller bearings. Costs about $12 to replace all three.

Looks like I'll have to order a few more props and give them a try. I think I'll need a new spinner also since it seems that the Dualsky has a 8mmx1.25. The axi has a shaft the size of a baseball bat. Does the dualsky fit an APC prop without having to ream it out?

slight amount of reaming is required to fit the APC

I ordered some cheap bearings for the prop shaft difference between the axi and the dualsky.. Found them on E ba y.. They have the inside dimension of 8 mm and outside 12mm.. I didn't have to buy a new spinner, or new props.. Works great..

It works well... The bearings are made by Duratrax. You can probably find them at your LHS.. Saved me alot of money in spinners and props..
Attached are a few pics of how I used them on my Abbra..

BTW... I'm running the 11T on a 22x12 and it has almost the same power as the Axi F3A motor IMO.. Didn't like it on a 20x13.. Which is what I liked on the F3A.. Good motor though.. I'd recommend it.. And have.. lol

I was wondering what the performance difference was between the 11T and 12T. It seems that both are being run. What's the power difference between the two?

I believe they are both rated at 2400 watts. The difference is prop load times rpm. If you want more rpm with a smaller prop go for the 11T. If you want a larger prop go with the 12T. I suspect Chris is over 2400 watts with the 11T and 22x12. Then
