Hi Mike,
I'm a little confused on the new Eclipse Tx. From what I understand there were some programming changes to the Tx. I heard the new Tx is now on the market. If so, How would I know I would be getting the new version from the store ? I would hate to think I was getting the newer version and end up getting new old stock from a hobby store.

Can the Tx be upgrade in the future when Hitec updates the Tx ?

Thanks for the help Mike

Jim

Let me see if I understand this, The only update was to the PCM version not the FM version ?

It was my uderstanding it was the FM and PCM version.

Does the Eclipse Tx do both FM and PCM ?

This was from a previous post of yours Mike:
The new version of the Eclipse will be both FM and PCM capable. The new "Q" PCM receiver will cost more than the FM but I don't know exactly how much at this time.

FYI: "Q" stands for quick. The new QPCM receiver will have the fastest responce of any PCM reciever on the market.

Mike.

Thanks
Jim

The update makes the older version PCM. The old version is FM only. The new version is both FM and QPCM.

You can buy a module on any channel. The module for a single channel plugs in just like the Spectra would, except one channel.

so let me get this straight again...

if i have the FM eclipse 7... i CAN have it upgraded to the new QPCM transmitter...AND get a NEW QPCM RECEIVER too...all for $98.00...

AND my radio upgrade will STILL work with my older hitec FM receivers...?

am i correct or just crazy?
