That is awesome man. I love seeing out of the box ideas. Great work so far. With bodies you have to get creative as well or mold your own. Whenever you get a chance, try to swap over to foam tires in the rear.

Foams don't balloon at high speeds and have better traction at high speeds. I have pushed rubber tires hard with my rustler-dragster and I can split a rubber tire in half when not belted with tape. The foams have instant traction, whereas the rubber tires just spun out under the massive power.

Thanks for the info. I have found that 1/8 scale and Drag racing is not very popular. I have surfed the internet looking for front and rear tires and as you can see I ended up using motorcycle tires. The search for the pro-stock body is another sore subject. If I had a 1/10 scale car I would be in good shape. Do you have a link that I could buy 5” tall foam tires?

I think you would have to make you own foam tires man. I was lucky enough to find foams for 2.2 wheels. I cut my rims up and made them fit. The only foam tires that I know are at RC4Less that might work for you.

imex makes a monster truck foam tire, but i think they're a little under 5", but not by much.
