Well it may not be perfect, but I have not found anything wrong with it yet.
This is the “Easy Tango Star”. I found a security type plane at rctoys.com, the Draganfly Tango Surveillance Aircraft. Here are the stats from them:
Length: 48 in.
Wingspan: 60 in.
Weight: 5.3 lbs.
Motor: 400-watt DC electric
Battery: 5 hrs. (lithium polymer)
Range: Up to 10 miles
Speed: Up to 60 mph
Price: $10,000 (radio-controlled) or $24,000 (autonomous)

Well, I didn’t want to spend the 10 grand so I built something “close” .
I use Easy Star Wings and made it a pusher, like an Easy Star.
The controls are on the rear wing only, using “tailerons”
The cameras are A620 and a Pure Digital 1 hour video camera.
I have a down link with “Eye Top” color video glasses (single eye). I also have a “Blip” from blip.com.au
With the Blip you can have a Shutter release and zoom control from your remote. (YA ZOOM, ain’t that cool?)
Here are my planes stats
Length: 53 in.
Wingspan: 53 in.
Motor: AXI 2814/12
Battery: 4s A123
Price: under $10,000
The pictures are the first using the new set up. Cold, windy, overcast day. The wind was gusting to 20mph. at one point I was flying backwards.
The Video is the maiden flight with high rates and no expo.
I thought this plane would be too floaty or bouncy in the wind because of the large amount of wing area. But it seemed very stable, and was very easy to control, even hovering against the wind. (low rates)

Great work on making affordable something that before only the rich could afford.

The CG ended up being just behind the front wing, about where the motor is. the camera is mounted just in front of the motor, on the side.

If the CG is just behind the front wing, then the " Tail " or rear wing is hardly carrying any load at all, and is for the most part a waste. Having the " Tail " that big just creates lots of uneeded drag and weight. I see what the poster was trying to do, have two lifting surfaces, but for two lifting surfaces of the same size to work efficiently, the rear wing must be carrying around 40 % of the load. As it is the huge rear wing is a waste carrying very little load. This is not a good or efficient design, especially when one is flying with electric power where battery life is important.
