sledgehammer is by thunder tiger.
mgt 8 is by associated

my local store (modelsport) only has the sledgehammer. i was after the mta4 but they dont do it anymore...so looks like i might go for this one....if this is just as good as the mta4? or am i better off trying to get the mta4?

Status: offline 		I normally will try to get something that my local hobby shop carries. This is not only to try and get parts on the fly (if they have them), but someone in there probably owns one and can help you if you run in to trouble. Having said that, Team Associated will ship stuff pretty quick should you need parts. TA parts are everywhere and I don’t know of any hobby shot that does not carry them to be honest. I trust TA but know nothing of ThunderTiger but that means nothing, I am relatively new to the hobby and don’t know much. However from reading up here I have heard that both are basically the same trucks.

Status: offline 		TA is owned by Thunder Tiger. The MGT 8.0 is the Sledgehammer as the MGT is the MTA4 and the Mini MGT is something else thunder tiger...

They're the same exact trucks.

but i can get the associated body and use that on the sledgehammer?
reason i'm asking is coz the shop does not seem to have the associated truck and from what i've seen, they are priced more than the thunder tiger but they both use the same spare parts??

Now doc from what i heard a truggy can bash just as hard or harder than a mt.
