stunning absolutly beautiful, you get what you pay for. just so everyone knows i never intended to put those wheels on my build i bought a pair of 3seabees hard wood much better than WB OR DUBRO there going to have aluminum wheel covers to match the build either that or i'm going to buy a proctor set. ijust always wanted to buy a pair of those global wheels to see for myself and i know what a weird style all the spokes are curved, strange any way what do you guys think spoke or aluminum covered. the wheel covers i'm going to build are pretty sharp but then againthe proctor wheels make me drool so tell me what you think i should do i'd be interested in your opinions.

an email to Joe at Proctor revealed to me, a 5" wheel looks fine and is within reaqson to scale given that stock on hand was what equipped many of the many variations of the N11's................he also felt that a wheel of 5.25-5.5 was correct, but the profile of the current WB 5.5" wheel/tire is rather fat.
i bought the wires, but i also bought the WB 5.25 and they look fine................i will display the 11 with the wires, but will use the WB for flying (beaters in other words)

spikkkkk, with your exceptional talent and great detail that you have wlecomed us to, the wires are a must...................

Just for fun, here's a set of spoked wheels I bought from Proctor back in 1983 and stupidly sold on eBay four years ago just months before getting into RC. I had bought them to use on a Hasegawa 1/8 scale DrI kit that I also ended up selling. These look somewhat different from the ones in Summerwind's photos.

I'm also uploading a couple photos of the spoked wheels that I scratch-built myself at a cost of about $20 in materials and a couple days of labor (after I figured everything out).

Mike you still here?
my N11 is finally ready for covering after a final sanding, then the detail work comes.
took some shots today and rigged the 11 with 30lb test fishing line.........i didn't want to use the cabling just yet, but will do so again just before covering.
the kit has been a really fun build, and i recommend it to anyone who wants a bird they can be proud of..........Joe up at Proctor has been spectacular in regards to my phone call and pickin his brain............makes me want to buy the whole list of Proctor kits.......thx Joe

great build super clean. i can see your very meticoulus about what you do. i cant wait to see what you do esteticly with your bird. if you need any direction on how to make certain detail parts my door is always open if you need any help at all. just as you, fletch, crate and a couple of others have helped me with my build and giving me the inspiration to go on and pull those skills out from inside myself and use them and also welcoming me to your threads and your builds.

Mike- Outstanding Pictures of your N11,and you could not have picked a better day to take them.Great shots of the Vee Strut assembly and rigging. Mike you have out done yourself on this one!Very clean build-looks ready to display in any museum or even @ Proctor!! Thanks for all the pics as they serve as great motivation for this thread!

Maybe this will bring out Cratecruncher so we can see his progress of his N11......

Ok now its back to the construction of my top wing.

Eric
