Just curious about how long it takes to finish building. I haven't decided between these two planes. I was looking at a Funtana X100 but I'm going to try one of these instead. Good forum and support, after watching the videos I don't think the X100 compares.

Both planes build similar as far as the kits go except the Fusion 67" is foam core and the Yak is all wood. Building profiles is pretty easy as everthing builds pretty much flat on your board with no fancy jigs or alignment issues. Both ARFs go together exactly the same......just shapaed differently!

To answer my own question in case anyone else is curious about build time. I bought the Yak and am about 7 hours into it and all there is left to do is mount my servos and motor. I think about 10 hours should see the whole thing done with radio set up and ready to go.

Thanks Joe, what part of KY are you from? I'm originally from Louisville. Grew up flying at EP Tom Sawyer park.

Bowling Green, There is a great field here I recently joined. I'm hoping to maiden my Yak next weekend if weather permits.

I heard a rumor Chevy was going to move the Corvette assembly line from Bowling Green to some new state-of-the-art plant in TN sometime soon. Any truth to that? I've been wanting to fly up here for the last two months but our weather has been windy and just plain crappy.

I have heard a rumor about the Corvette factory moving, but it's still here for now.

Seems like that would be a MAJOR decision by Chevy given the history there in Bowling Green and the Corvette Museum being located there. I don't own a vette but I always stare at the plant and museum when I'm headed down to TN for a bro event.
