Hello Again,

I want to use the sequencer function in a plane that will have a device sold by a company called Tamjets. This failsafe device have an air pressure sensor that sends a 'retract' signal if the pressure drops below an user set value. This will allow for gear extension before the air runs out. The device usually gets connected between the receiver and gear valve. It will also works with sequencers that controls both gear doors and gear retraction / extension, like UP valves. You can download the short manual here

The question is will it work with a weatronic that uses the sequencer programming?

In order to work, the weatronic must be able to (a) receive the retract channel information and pass it to the device and then (b) receive a a 'retract' signal from the device. Don't see any issues with (a), but not sure how to do (b). I was thinking maybe the 'gyro in' socket can be used to receive the signal from the device. The issue will then become how to use the 'gyro in' channel to activate the sequencing in the weatronic

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Edgar,
We do not have any input signal yet that we can use to trigger the landing gear sequence. I am lobbying to make that available in the future. Once we have that available you can most likely use a signal to trigger anything in the receiver function overriding signals from the transmitter.
