I have a mini slider and I can fit gp2200 batteries in it. It can handle from 5-7 cells. I m running a Mamba Comp X brushless set up at the moment. How many cells should I run? I want a good run time with a decent amount of power. I m thinking 7 but will the weight be too much? Thanks.

it depents are those 2/3a cells or sub c's because if they are sub c's they will not fit unless mounted standing up

get some ib1400's and you will be set

seven cells is barley heavier than six but you will get a pretty good increase in power

if you are doing seven set the seventh cell on top in the center of the pack or like this ===|

I already have a 7 cell Ib1400 pack. They are 2/3a. I calculated that I can get 5 sub c cells(GP2200) to fit if I mount them like this ==| . So my question is do I add 2 on top of that or not.

yea as long as there isnt a battery strap of course

but you will see a slight increase in weight

in my oppinion stick with the 1400's cause the others ae just to big

i gues if you dont care about weight go for it butyou will get a longer run time

Honestly, go lipo. I know it's not what you're asking for but the tradeoffs are definately worth it.
