it should fit, i know they need a standard crank, since you said cut crank, it may be too short.

since it says standard crank it should fit, i personally dont know since i dont have any dynamite engines in my cars only one of my boats. I think you should go with the sh .18 on the erp from redcat, its more powerful and a better engine than that at a better price, the sh .18 will cost you less than $50

if you dont want to wait and want it from a store, see if they have an os cvrx .18, its around $110 but its a great engine, direct fit, reliable, easy to tune and start. i know its more than that dynamite engine but believe me, you wont be happy with that .12 engine.

i would think a week turn around, i guess it depends on how fast you get the old engine to them.

how do you think the speed of the dynamite would be in the shockwave compare to the orignal motor the vertex .16?

i would have to think less speed and torque, dynamite is not known for thier high output engines and the vx16 is a decently fast engine, i have one in my lightning and was pretty impressed, i have the .32 dynamite in my shockwave boat, its pretty decent BUT its a .32

engine replacement program is fast and easy as long as you follow the directions. I used it and couldnt be happier with the sh .18

The dynamite .12S engine is a decent sport engine. They do however, like to run warm when they are at their peak power. Its power output, is comparable with the OS .12 CV series.
