I'm wondering if a Yak around 60" wingspan would be coming out soon. I'm about to be a college student, and I really don't have the time or money to get a bigger Yak or any interest to go electric. I'm also turned off by the high fuel costs of the Saito 150 (for the 69" ) and the low power-to-weight of small gassers (for the 73" ).

There really aren't many good 3D planes in this size range that aren't profiles. I've heard so many good things about the QQ series of planes, and have seen several fly miraculously well. I want to get a 50cc Yak in the not-too-distant-future, but would like a smaller Yak for now. I also like the smaller size because the risk of losing an investment applies to less money ($800 vs $2400). I would kill for a Yak about 60" wingspan, 6 pounds, 750+ square inches of wing area with a carbon fiber wing tube, airfoiled tail surfaces (preferably removable, but i realize that's not very realistic), removable canopy hatch. QQ would have my money in a heart-beat, and I'm sure that of many others.

If that plane doesn't come out, I guess I'll just have to wait for the money to buy the QQ 86" Yak to get into the QQ family.

The 100 will fly the 69" but no real hovering authority. You could always sell the Saito and get the 69" Yak with the OS 1.20. Should come out to be even on price for engines? Just my .02
