I finally got my Blade CX all set and running good thanks to everyones input. Now I'm looking at my charger. I have the stock charger that only seems to take 45 min maximum to charge a battery. I've read that it should take between an hour and 2-2.5 hrs to charge. I'm only getting about 10 min of flight time. Does this add up? Does anyone have a better charger they like? I don't want to spend over $100. thanks in advance for your input.

Never heard of that charger you listed from ebay. A lot of people recomend the fma cellpro 4s

http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?item=2218§ion=45

and the DN G2

http://shop.boomtownhobbies.com/product.sc?categoryId=1&productId=11

I personally bought both due to all the good talk regarding both.

Here is the power source I run with them, so they are both connected at the same time.

Hope this helps!

Here's mine it does it all. I really happy with it. Its over your budget at about 160 but it will grow with you. It does it all. It really easy to use. I've used it on my helicopters, planes and E Maxx batteries. Spending budgets are like anything else in RC. What ever you think your cost will be double it. This way your never underestimating.

10 minutes flight time is probably about average for a CX. I use my CX-2 charger for my CX-2 2-cell LiPo batterys and also my CP+ 3-cell LiPo battery. Mine has a a slot for 3 cell batterys and a slot for 2 cell batterys. Never had a problem with the charger.

thanks for the info. I've heard about the cellpro 4 from another post here. I've been testing my bats on a very nice SnapOn multimeter and getting around 8.35. When I hook it up to the cheapy homedepot tester I get 8.4. I'm guessing everyone else is using a simple meter to get 8.4. Is this descrepency something I should be thinking about or am I splitting hairs?

Sounds about right.

I may get a better charger someday but this Align charger meets my needs for now, I'm quite satisfied for the price/features. I got along just fine with the stock charger as well. The things I like the most about this charger: Balance charging, 2 2 cells at the same time-up to 4 cell, 120 volts in with NO wall wart, did I mention NO WALL WART!
