I'm thinking of getting either an Edge 540 V3 or Fusion X3D 46. It will be my first 3D plane. Any recommendations as to one versus the other? Also, I fly at about 5500' feet and normally use CP 15% nitro; do you think the Saito will have enough power, or should I get the 82?

If it is your first 3D plane then go with the Edge. If you are experienced however with RC flying and want a plane that can track straight, fly precision and 3D then go with the Fusion. Be aware though the Fusion is way more nimble in the air than the Edge. The Edge was designed to be the best choice for 3D training and as such, is a very stable platform.

Oh yea, the Saito 72 will be more than enough power but most folks prefer at least 20% nitro. The Saito really needs at least 20% to see the performance it is capable of.
