We just did a .21 versus .28 comparison in our latest issue Feb 2008 Xtreme RC Cars (available now) with the OS Speed VZB and their killer .28. We did a dyno comparison then went to the track to record lap time differences. We used a factory driver and a regular racer (me) to show differences for the average guy.

The average .28 puts out the power of a race .21. There are a few "race" .28 that step up the power to near 2hp.

When the cop pulls you over doing 160 mph, and asks if you knew how fast you were going say, "yep i had cruise control on".

Would the Jammin/Picco Evo2 21 make good bashing engines? I mean, lots of full-on WOT-ing, jumping, flipping, skate-parking, etc...

im lookind for a track race motor. 21s arevin that category. my os 28 would fall more into a bash category.

it all depends on what u plan on doing with the truck.

I was planning on the evo 2 but I've read some posts on bad fins or something. nothing bad read on the jammin yet or the rb 21s

I was also wondering, will the OS 28 turn out to also have the low life expectancy often attributed to the VSPECs? I guess they haven't been out long enough for many people to have a lot of fuel through them yet...

the EVO 2 and Jammin .21 are the same motor internally, but the Jammin comes with a better cooling head and a turbo glow plug.. the latest P7R motors are now coming without the turbo button.... So as it sits your better off buying the Jammin motor.......

Also guys online are saying the Jammin .21 uses the onroad P9R crank...but when timed the crank is 100% identical tot he P7R crank...... So the Jammin motor internally is truly 100% identical to the Picco P7R....the only differences are in marketing and on paper... but mechanically they are identical.
