Is there any chance we could get a picture of silly putty thats in a diff? I'm still kinda confused about how to do this. Does anyone have a link about how to change diff oil in general? I'm having a hard time imagining silly putty meshed in the gears of the differential but I really wanna figure this out

Like macanan said just remove the 4 screws on the diff. Open it up and you will see 4 small gears called spider gears. Pack the whole cavity with silly puddy. Dont worry it wont hurt anything and it can easily be removed. Then reinstall diff half and tighten screws. Just leave enough room for the gear in the diff half that you removed. This will pretty much lock teh diff and send equal power to both front and rear wheels. Just like other monster trucks with transmissions.

Somewhat off the topic here but one of the contest's should be called -= RC Bloopers caught on tape =-, Like when ranger4x4 tires blew apart or S.R.G plunged into a ditch full of water, or something outrageous or funny that was unexpected to happen.

Its about time someone got something on this post. Nice video.

Other than my sons avalanche I have yet to see a Avalanche do a wheelie without a jump. It took ALOT of tinkering and even an engine swap to get my sons avalanche to wheelie. Now I need a wheelie bar and some video. Its impossible to get a stock avalanche to wheelie unless its off of a jump or you have some major mods. My sons has a different engine, locked center diff, 80wt rear diff fluid thicker shock oil and smaller tires/wheels.. It wont wheelie with a 8mm carb insert but it will with a 9mm insert.

As soon as I get some vdeo and learn how to post it I will show you all what a real wheelie looks like with an avalanche.
